Stoker / Movie Review

Another Monday came, and with it, another movie review, and like last week, it got my eye through Bloodmilk's blog, and her blood films post. Ironically I have a picture of the movie's poster, with the promise that one day i would see the movie, even when i didn't knew the theme.

"After India's father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him."
The movie is starring by the talented Mia Wasikowska
The stunning Nicole Kidman
And the super handsome Matthew Goode, oh dear, this gorgeous man took my breath away with his performance!.
While i don't want to revel...much about the characters itself, i certainly must say that the movie was beautiful, even when the theme is quite intense. The photography is stunning and the characters are profound and a little bit disturbed.
My only complain would rest on the fact that India could hear everything, so of course during the movie, we could heard too other's people comments during the funeral, but specially critters and birds, and so on, which could be a little bit distracting if you're wearing headphones.
Absolutely recommended if you enjoy twisted stories accompanied by gorgeous moments, details and strong characters, with a perfect illumination.

Hope you enjoy it as much as i did. Have a nice week lovely people!
